Thanks, Tomo. Yeah, those jazzy chords are so much fun to play. I'm glad the tone is good — my pickups were very noisy (maybe a lot of em radiation in my practice area) so I bought noiseless ones (and a soldering iron) and replaced them. The tone of the neck pickup isn't quite as good in my opinion, but close enough.

I'm also glad to hear it was cleaner. I am working on my muting through R37 swing groove, chromatic exercise, and the warmup (triplet) etude that you recently introduced in a Youtube video. I do those 3 every day.

Great tone! I think your root position you can play a little clearly. R 5 M3 or R 5 b3... Your first finger only press 6th string and listen carefully R...5...M3 and work on balanace. Good job! Keep going!
