What's the settings to get a nice clean sound like Tomo's? I have a Fender Blues Junior 3, and was never able to get I clean tone that I like.
Here is Tomo's reply:
"More Master Volume and less Volume. Set Master Volume around 8-10. Set Volume at 2-3. Treble 7. Middle 6. Bass 4-5. Try those settings. If they don't work, maybe your tubes are very tired?"
I wanted to follow up on this thread to see if there are any recommendations for tube amp maintenance and care?
For example, if I pick up a used tube amp, should I start by replacing the tubes just to establish a baseline? And then, how do I keep everything properly cared for?
Last, I noticed a device on Toni’s Pro Reverb in many of the videos. Is that a voltage attenuator? Is that recommended for tube amp users?
