I really love the tone used on the track Kyoto (2001 recording)
Would love to know how to achieve a similar smooth, round jazz sound (I'm using a vintage strat and fender champion)
any help would be appreciated!

"Thanks so much! On that recording, I played a Combat Warm (Strat type with 2 humbuckers) and a Fender Pro Reverb. My guitar Tone is always 10, but my Volume was around 8. My tone comes from my picking nuances and my picking position. I pick around the front pickup. Did you hear the version of KYOTO on my PURE CD? Single coil, front pickup."
