Hi,I have some questions about lesson34
The chord progress is E-7 E7 CM7 B7
and we can play A harmonic minor scale when the chord is E7.
Play C melodic minor scale when the chord is B7 .
Can I change this idea?
Play E# melodic minor scale when the chord is E7 .
Play E harmonic minor scale when the chord is B7.
I want to know is that work, thank you.
Here is Tomo's reply:
"For E7, you can play E Mixolydian (b9, b13), which is the same as A Harmonic minor.
Normally, E7 resolves to A-7.
"For B7, you can play B Mixolydian (b9, b13), which is the same as E Harmonic minor,
or you can play B Altered scale, which is the same as C melodic minor.
"I explained all of this in the lesson. If I talked too fast, please let me know. Thank you."
