I wasn't going to watch this... So glad i did. Great idea for these lessons. The way Tomo Teaches I get alot from the simple things taught the right way.
Learning without shapes and patterns has taken a while to break, but makes me understand so much more.
I can hear notes alot better now...
Ive never had a good hear for music. I can now even start to hear where i what to go before i go there... such a difference learning the right way. Its good getting back to basics.

Tomo,
On Theory Lesson 08 about Phrygian mode you start playing solo notes over the backing track around 10:23 on the video. The note on the video says 4-chords 4-modes. Are you playing a different mode each time the chord changes? Like Phrygian over the E chord, Aolian over the A chord etc. Or are you playing Phrygian over all the chords. Please explain as best you can. Thanks

The subtitles are accurate. Tomo is playing the notes of C Major. Over Em, the sound/mode is Phrygian. Over Am, the sound/mode is Aeolian, and so on.
