Thanks for this forum to get lots of information. I have a question bothering me for a long time. I practice the triad for different chords, so I always see the R 3rd 7th something, at the same time I need to develop a melody line, it's not easy to think the melody (in a fixed key) under different trial thinking. For example, if I play C key, I'll sing the Do Re Mi Fa .....under C chord, but when I go to F, should I sing the Fa La Do, or Root 3rd 5th ? Mr.Fujita can you explain more for such kind of practice to connect between chords with melody line thinking, thanks~~
Here is Tomo's reply:
"Thanks so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. You can find R 3 7 swing groove lessons and Triads lessons on this site. Focus on Do Re Mi in each chord/key, for a very nice, simple sound. Learn triads or scales with movable Do. So, for example, F triad: F is Do, A is Mi, C is So."
