Hi all,
Ok I would play a barre A Chord
As I finger pick each note slowly going from lowest To highest or towards the floor
I can hum and match my voices with 6 ,5,4 and some times 3 string mostly open g string
But between the 3 and 2 my voice starts to crack or squeal I still can hear the note at times by very faint but not dead on
What would you suggest on how I should practices this
Their Times I can hear a higher note but cannot hum in that Register
I also will hum the first 5 degrees so Key A
A,B,C#,D,E
And just let that sink in to my brain
and then just hum a riff or melodic idea
Within those 5 notes of the scale
And tried to match the humming with each note and the rhythm that goes along with the idea
How can really improve where I can hear all the notes with trial and error ?
Am I doing anything correct?
"But between the 3 and 2 my voice starts to crack or squeal I still can hear the note at times by very faint but not dead on

I wouldn't worry about singing/humming the exact pitch, you can do it one octave lower if you want to.
"I also will hum the first 5 degrees so Key A

Now this is really good and efficient practice, do more of this!

Just give it a whole lot of time and practice, remember; don't expect too fast ;)
You're doing everything correct, we just need to give these things plenty of hard work and time.
