I had the same question when I started. Tomo recommend begining with the theory section.

Thanks for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. If you feel something is missing, or you are not able to understand something, then it’s better to go back to the early (low number) lessons, or the 'Foundation' lessons. You can also watch more of the new theory lesson videos."

The road to playing any genre starts at the same spot: at the very beginning.

Learn the intervals, all of the fretboard notes, the major scale, basic theory, numbering system, triads, foundation and technique, songwriting chords, and implement good practice routines and warm-ups. (e.g. chromatic exercises, swing strumming, swing bass line, counting, metronome on 2&4 and on every beat, etc)

Then, focus on jazz-specific topics. Look at the jazz standards and jazz blues lessons. If it seems like you missed something, go back and review. Use the search to find additional topics.
