Hello!

I wonder if I can get some guidance on what electric guitar and amplifier to buy if I'm a beginner.

To clarify, I own an acoustic guitar! But I find it difficult for me to bend the strings in the middle. I don't know if I'm just making excuses or if I need to consider getting different gear to practice bends.

For the guitar, I was thinking of a Squier Bullet.

I read in an interview that Tomo-Sensei liked using his Fender Musicmaster bass amp to practice.

I was thinking of using a Fender Mustang I V.2, because it has the '59 Bassman preset.

Also, I am a bit scared of buying equipment. Everything has a Prop 65 warning on it! Should I be worried?

Fender Squier Classic Vibes 50s or 60s Series Stratocaster and any of the small solid state modeling amps by Fender, Boss, Yamaha or Vox are great choices. I’m not a beginner but the Squier Classic Vibes 50s Strat is so nice for the money that I recently bought one. You literally don’t need to upgrade anything on it. Pay $75 extra and get a professional set up on it and it will compare to a $1000 Strat. I have a Yamaha THR10 practice amp that is exceptional. You can get one for under $300 - and you have an amp you can plug in or operate on batteries. They sound amazing. Check out YouTube. For under $700 you can have a set up that will last you years with no need to upgrade.

Bugera makes a great tube practice amp for a couple hundred dollars. Nice thing about it is that it's also loud enough to keep up with a drum kit.

Also agree with the classic vibe. Those are good guitars.
