Hey Tomo, I'm trying my best to understand chords in jazz and what we can use and where we can use it! I was wondering about the chord relationship in Kyoto. Specifically going from F Major 7 to A 7-13 to A Flat major 7. Why can we use these chords when we get to the new key of F Major? Why does the o A 7-13 resolve so nicely into A flat major 7? This relationship brings us back to the c minor key if I'm not mistaken and was wondering what was going on!
