About the practice routine in lesson 12 - Tomo Fujita Guitar Wisdom Forums

Are those three things always needed in the practice routine as long as I still play the guitar? Or at some point I can stop practicing that?

Here is Tomo's reply:

"Thanks so much for subscribing to Guitar Wisdom.

"For a practice routine, please choose what you need from that video. I still love to practice a lot of swing grooves (using Root 3rd 7th chords) with a metronome. Try these suggestions for swing-groove practice:

1) Set a metronome to 50-75, with accents on every beat;
2) Set a metronome to 40-55, with accents on 2&4; and
3) Set a metronome to 55-65, with accents on 2&4 (mostly down strokes)."
