HI,
Are there any chord progressions (pdf?) for the last, jazzy part of Twinkle?
Thanks,
Greg
Hi,
I would like the chord progression or a lesson for the jazzy part of Twinkle as well. I bought the book with the cd the has Twinkle in it, but it does not include the jazz part. Please, make a lesson on it.
Thanks,
Scott
Here is Tomo's reply to Greg and Scott:
"Thanks for buying the Solo Guitar Etudes book. I hope you are enjoying it! I will create a lesson on the jazzy version of Twinkle Twinkle."
Thank you very much! I will look forward to seeing it and learning from it!
Thanks, Tomo. Really enjoy your approach. I wonder if the site might benefit from a table of contents kind of thing? This way users can go directly to something. Right now, we have to click on several things before we know what we are looking at. Maybe it's just me!! Just a friendly question.
Thanks for your question. For various (mostly technical) reasons that Tomo and I have discussed, there is not a single Table of Contents for the site. If we overhaul Guitar Wisdom at some point . . . well, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
As you know, we post a contents listing at the top of each playlist or lesson category. On each playlist page, you can navigate to the top and find similar lessons. In any case, be sure to try the site SEARCH feature at the top of the page. It works, and it may save you a few clicks!
Thanks. Perfect. It's not that unmanageable as it is and I completely understand.
Greg
Greg,
Not sure if this helps you. Some lessons are organized by genre which I think is pretty good way of organizing content. Also, not sure if you have noticed but each lesson has a corresponding Demo video. For example, Lesson 37 "Double Stops" has a corresponding Demo 37. The Demo videos are exactly what the name state--Tomo demonstrating how to applying the theory, techniques to the corresponding lesson. I identify 2 or 3 videos along the same theme--this week it's double stops and neo/soul--and I save the lesson videos in "My List" and I save the corresponding demos. I have been able to better organize my instruction by doing this...just a thought I'd share with you.

Ah. This is very helpful. I shall do this from now on. I knew it must be me. Thanks for the tips. Much appreciated.
Greg
Another great post from you, Rick! Thanks for sharing your perspective and your learning strategy with other subscribers.

E G#m7 AMaj7 G#m7
TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR
This is a way to start playing with a little jazzier sound....
the spacing doesn't quite work out in my response so chords don't correspond to words.
E major Twinkle
G#m7 Twinkle
AMaj7 Little
G#m7 Star
let's see if this works
I keep waiting. Please do the Twinkle Twinkle Jazz version soon! Please!
Thank you so much for making the video! I appreciate that so very much. I am going to be watching it and learning it starting tomorrow!
