Hi Tomo!
Love what I'm seeing! I used to actually listen to you play while studying with both Jim Kelly and Lauren Passarelli over a decade ago, during my time at Berklee.
Sad to say, I was so overwhelmed with my course load at the time, I never got the chance to get a class in person. But, I have been following for a long time now and really love what you are doing.
I wonder if I could request a lesson video sometime on organization and lifestyle? I find often that my issue is that I have a lot of small goals to reach (i.e. finish recording for an artist, write music, teach lessons, practice my own technique, work on projects for my band). I find that in one day, the time just flies by and I don't get everything done that I had set out to do. Some days even skipping meals etc because I just want to get it all done.
I personally have found the notebook lesson SUPER valuable, and it has helped me to get my shopping list together. But I am wondering, do you run on a schedule to get it all done? And finding the time for social media as well to promote PLUS doing all the above mentioned work? Like, I am lucky enough to make music for my job, but I would love to hear your philosophy on getting daily tasks done regularly and consistently. I feel like some days I win and get it all done, but many are not nearly as productive as they should be. I'd love to set a goal to fix that.
Here is Tomo's reply:
"Thanks so much for your kind words, and for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom! I am constantly making new videos. I will work on new videos about how to practice and stay organized.
"Planning is very important, and we all need to do it. We need to work with our own personality, at our own pace. Do what you can with a small notebook now. (I use a few notebooks all the time.)
