When you say diatonic triads at 8:15 and 11:22 are you referring to B Mixolydian? I was trying to figure out where that descending progression was coming from. It sounds like the following chords: B major, A major, G# minor, F# minor. I was confused by the 2 note chords at 8:15 because the chord with the G# on the B string visually seemed like an E chord and the chord with the F# visually seemed like a D major. But it makes more sense if it's B major, A major, G# minor, F# minor from B Mixolydian.
