Hey guys. I am into doing ear training lately using the solfege syllables to recognize the scale degrees in a major scale. When I hear a major 3rd (after a I-IV-V-I progression as context) my brain is already thinking "Mi", which is actually a lot of fun. When it comes to chromatics though e.g. a minor 3rd my brain is thinking of something between Re and Mi but I am missing the clarity of having a corresponding syllable in my head that stores this tonal color. Can you tell me how you would approach this or if I am running into the wrong direction?
