Before moving to minor triads - should we memorize all of the major triads on the fretboard?
I would suggest memorising the major triad shapes in root, 1st and 2nd positions all over the fretboard first, make sure you know where the R 3rd & 5th are. Once you know this all you have to do to get to the minor triad is to move the 3rd down one fret closer to the nut/headstock.
If you are also working on knowing where the notes are on the fretboard at the same time then you will know where every R is for every triad major and minor.
