Hello Sensei Tomo! I am wondering what’s something that beginner and intermediate guitar players spend too much time doing? In your experience, are there things that people spend too much time focusing on that are actually a waste of practice time?
I think he once said that learning the scales as a shape is learning in a bad way, it's better to understand how they work.
Edit: Also focusing and playing fast as a priority.
Here is Tomo's comment:
"Thanks so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. Moderation is the key, and this can apply to many other things in life. It is very important to focus on ONE TOPIC very deeply! And you really need to believe 100% in yourself. If you have 5% doubt, then … no good! We all need to figure out how much time to spend on a lesson or topic. I am thinking about making some proficiency videos that will help you to decide how long to stay on a topic and when to move on to the next thing."
