Not new to this stuff but new to the lesson program! I started taking Tomos lessons to get back to basics and reprogram how I look at the guitar (Relationships between notes instead of geometry!).
My question, at what point should I start learning these things in the other keys?
For example, should I learn everything in the theory section in taught by Tomo until I have them perfect and then go back and add another key and work my way through each mode/scale, or should I focus on one mode/scale/triad at a time in all the keys??
Cheers!!
Here is Tomo's comment:
"Thanks so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. Wen you are learning triads, start with triads in C (3 ways). Make sure that you can play them well without stopping. No noise! Clean sound! Then, you can try other keys: Bb, Eb, etc. Take your time! When you can play these well, you can try other keys, other positions, other fingerings, and other tempos to challenge yourself!
