First I would like to thank you for this great endeavor and gift, Guitar Wisdom.
My question is the following. From a Math standpoint, there are 6 permutations for the notes of a triad. Why aren't DO-SOL-MI, Mi-DO-SOL and SOL-MI-DO considered to be Triads in the world of Music?

I actually thought at 1st that they were also triad combinations but was releaved to find that there was only 3 inversions that we had to learn !! I know that doesn't answer your question though it is a good one though I got my hands full and I am not trying to make this anymore complicated then it already is
my guess is that they are the same: root, 1st inversion, 2nd inversion, just plucked in reverse order, so since each one you mention is the same fret pattern as the ones covered.
