I really confuse part of theory lesson 20 whole tone scale from 5:44-6:10, why you play G-B-E(?) ,B-D?-E?,I don't understand .

Yeah I agree. I thought he was saying if you play the same pattern up a major third, then it will sound the same because it has the same notes. G A B C# D# F G then up a major third B C# D# F G A B, then up a major third D# F G A B C# D#. I think the E was just an oversight. Sometimes it is difficult to talk and demo at the same time.
