Tomo Fujita Guitar Wisdom

Hi everyone. Brandon here. I'm new to GW, and want to get off on the right foot and get your opinion on where I should start. First a little background. I'm 45 years old and I've been playing guitar for 25 years (I'm almost ashamed to admit that because I'm not 25 years good ha). Most of my playing is chordal as I'm a worship pastor by trade. I have a masters in music, as well as an undergrad, but have always found theory difficult to translate to guitar for some reason.. I'm not sure why. I really want to start moving along the path with guitar where I SHOULD be after playing so long.
I guess I'm just STUCK in a major rut and I hope this course / lessons can help me.

Any help on where to start would be appreciated. Until I hear back I'll just start at video 1 and go from there. :)

Welcome to Guitar Wisdom! We recommend that you start with the Foundation section and the Theory section, alternating between these two sections as needed. From there, you can move on to whatever suits you, on your own schedule. We hope that you will enjoy Tomo's approach, which focuses not on memorization and visualization, but on hearing the music. Welcome Brandon, I think it is worth it for you to follow what George said and start in Foundation 1 and Theory 1. Maybe you know 99% of it already, but Tomo may drop a few nuggets of wisdom that you will appreciate. Most of the videos are pretty short. you can always jump around too.

Thanks for the responses ... I'm going through the theory sections. I know the theory as it pertains to music, but the videos are explaining how that translates to the guitar.
