Greetings all!
I've watched Tomo give this fantastic lesson, and would like to find out how to end this blues style that Tomo does at around the 6 minute mark.
I love it, but can't seem to nail down a good-sounding ending/turnaround. Is there somewhere in Guitar Wisdom where it's covered? I'd love to work on ways to create a happy turnaround for it. Any help would be valued.

Not sure exactly what you are asking. Do you want the tab for what he is playing or a simple turn around? Assuming the latter, and you know what key you are in, you can simply end on the "I" be it in chord or note form. Sometimes "the best" way to do something is the simplest way. Silence and pause in music is also powerful. In reality, there are countless ways to end a blues progression- the best is to find your own. How would YOU end it? Since you have to ask, I would suggest dedicating some time to ear training. You have to hear what is going on and reply based on your interpretation and where you want to take it. Great musicians can end the same song, played 5 times, in 5 different ways.
Hi Dave! Thank you for the kind response. I'm a beginner and I"m sorry I didn't phrase it better. I'm looking at ways to end this 12-bar. I've got the rhythm under my fingers but don't have a good/appropriate turnaround for it. I'm not skilled enough to solo my way around finding an ending at this point. I can FEEL that it needs an ending, but unfortunately not quite there yet in terms of creating one!
You raise a good point RE the key that it's in. If I pick whatever key, (Let's say it's in A), then to create my own ending, should I look at any notes that would fit into the E (or whatever V chord it's in) of the progression, and try to use my ears from there to guide? Is that right, or am I getting confused? I'd love to hear other musicians end a progression using a rhythm like this so that I can get an idea! My ignorance on this stuff drives me nuts! Thank for the suggestion on using ears (on top of music theory) to work it out. I'll see if I can do that.
You're absolutely right about ear training. I've got into guitar at 40 years old and loving it. I've learnt a lot in the 2 years I've been playing - However, I've got a long way to go. I feel properly behind the general likes of the skills that I see here, so please forgive my rather basic questions. (Max enthusiasm, minimal experience!)

If I were playing 12 bar blues in A, I would simply would simply resolve by playing the single notes E, F, F# (2nd string from the thick E (open A) at frets 5, 6 and 7 (rest on count off 4.) That pattern works everywhere. In the first open E position, on the open 2nd A string, its played open (A), then A#/Bb, B. Try it and let me know if it works for you. (;
Yes! Dave, that'll do marvellously! My beginnerness prevented me from finding that all by myself, and I'm sorry for that - but i could literally feel and sense the timing and blues'ness of it. I'm glad it worked out for you Lei. It works at the octave as well- try playing Em blues at the first open position, the go up to 12 (2nd string- hit the three notes.) Have someone teach you the major scale- if you don't already know it. Learn how chords fit into it. Then learn the minor pentatonic and learn how they are related and how chord progressions fit into that. In the case of Blues, powerchords (two notes) are not really chords- not triads (3 or more notes in a chord. They are perfect fifth intervals but you could double up a note.
Take your time, it will all start to click eventually.
