I am new and a little confused here because I see that solfege (do, re, mi...) is used for ear training as it is very good to hear better and distinguish intervals. However, I see Tomo using it when he talks about triads as well. Wouldn´t it be better to learn scale degrees than solfegete so I can think in terms of degrees when I play triads, scales, etc? And it could help for ear training as well because you can start thinking in terms of intervals when you think with degrees.
