What are you guys writing in your notebook? Tomo suggested it as a daily record right?

Anyone had any success in making it a note-taking book that is focused on each lesson?

I have done Beginner up until G chord and Foundations up to Fretboard (4-1).

Yes! The notebook is an awesome tool!
Whenever I watch a lesson, I keep an eye (ear?) out for a revelation. Something I have never before considered.
When I see it, I immediately stop the video and write about it in my notebook. Later, I go back and read the notes all over again from the beginning.
That way we can form new neural pathways in our brains.

i use my notebook a couple ways... one to take notes when i'm learning something new, second way is what david shared - keeping an ear out for a new lesson i haven't considered before when rewatching videos, and third to jot down ideas when i'm practicing.

sometimes i have aha's when i practice, and i don't want to get distracted, so i write it down as a way to help me internalize the idea i had.

I think I have an idea for mine. I'll meld the advice here with my Bullet Journal setup.

Have an Index/Table of Contents at the front and each lesson/notes/interesting stuff will just fill the pages. I'll Index the page number so I can quickly reference it.

I think this will make it free form and allow me to not have tunnel vision.
