Hey Tomo!
Thanks for your great content and your very calming personality. I really enjoy your content.
So i´m a beginner, i can´t play any songs. I startet out with the goal to play my own music.
For that i wanted to do it right. I learned the notes on the fretboard, i know major scales, and up to
this point i know the c-maj triads. But i can´t put it all together to music... the music is there, in my
head but i don´t know how show it with guitar.
My question is: Should i learn playing songs to get a sense for what i´m missing?
Greetings
Chris
Learning songs can be fun and keep you interested. Along with learning the you can learn a new rhythm pattern and so on, if you try to pick out the chords by ear that makes for good ear training. As a new beginner you want to have fun but keep the train rolling...
Enjoy the site..a lot of good learning material and a lot of good folks hanging out..
Yes i think it can help to keep having fun. At the moment, it feels very like practising all the time.
