Tomo ! What a great lesson.
Not only did you show some great ideas here, but you introduced me to the music of Tom Misch.
I laid down the funky chord progression in Logic and just spent a great couple of hours improv over the Cmaj7, B7Alt, Emi7 and E7b5 using ideas from the arpeggios and melodic sequences. There is a also great video on YT showing Toms basic guitar sound set up in Logic using an autowah for the lead improv sound and it sounds amazing jamming through that progression with it.
You're lesson is really helping me to get more fluid connecting the arpeggios and scales together.
I'm still trying to make better changes from the Emi7 to the B7b5 using either Harmonic minor 5 or the Domb9 scales but getting there and its starting to sound good !
Do you ( or anyone here on the forum ) have any advice on learning more about how to explore using the arpeggios derived from the HM and altered scales ?
best regards....
