So hey music is my life I dont see me doing anything else but music you know making it big but I also do see my self geting anywhere near there and it's kind of distroying me I've been picking up random shit of the internet for about a year and a half now and I really dont have money to take lessons I know it's a lot to ask but can some one please please give me a detailed run through of what they learnt first or what they should have learned first all the way up to were they are now like those ppl that do sweep picking and shit but u dont have to know any of that I live in vegas and no one plays i cant go to the local spots and see ppl jam nothing I'm just hoping someone can help me thanks
I read that you said you don’t have money for Lesson(s) .. but however if you can afford a lesson from a teacher to give you the basics foundation of playing songs . That should be the main reason why we pick up an instrument 🎸.. if you can’t afford one lesson . Then i suggest you play songs you like rock, blues , folk pick your genre you’re really love and start with songs you love . Most songs outside of Jazz have simple chord progressions. Learn your open chords , power chords and learn the notes of the chords . That’s what Tomo teaches here . And learn your major scale , pentatonic scale . Tomo pretty much teaches everything i just mention but if it’s going over your head . I really suggest learn songs and the chords and play along with them .
