I'm looking for song that would help expand my knowledge of triads. I have memorized c major shapes and having trouble on decided what to learn next.

Hotel California and Little Wing come to mind... lots of triads there

Snow by Red Hot Chilli Peppers is basically all triads

Edit: The main riff are 3 major triads (which you already know) and a minor triad, in which you just basically take the triad you already know and change the 3rd for a minor 3rd, making it a minor triad.

you can always try to figure out any of your favorite songs using triads. i've been listening to reggae and practicing application of triads through those songs.

you can try different levels to it too. first figure out the triads. once you have the triads, try to identify the different inversions on all 4 top strings (d, g, b, e), and then last level, try to use different inversions across the neck.

remember, don't expect too fast :D

It may sound odd, but folk songs and national anthems are quite fun, and often tend to have nice diatonic melodies.

Something I like to do is taking any chord progression, let's say a 1-6-2-5 in the key of E, and just play that going through all the triads in various patterns for each chord. I hope that makes sense.
