Dear Tomo, how to play solo "call & response" correctly? When i "call" should i finish phrase one of the tension note (4,6,9) and "response" finish on chord note (1,3,5,7)? Or maybe is it more about rythm concept. Is it possible to give us lesson about "call & response" topic?
Regards Peter
Here is Tomo's response:
"Thanks so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. 'Call and Response' is a blues conversation. For an example, please listen here:
"For another example, please listen to Kirk Fletcher and me on “Gadson Shuffle“ from my album BLUE SKY. Maybe you can transcribe some of the music and analyze it!
"I will post more blues guitar lessons. Meanwhile, please SEARCH this site for blues phrasing/improvisation lessons."
