I was watching "TF Lesson 005 String Bending Technique" and trying to practice bending.
When he goes from one note to another, there was no sound of the string going back down.
For example: If I bend from B to C, when I want to release the string, there will be a dip back to "B".
How does he do it? Do I need to mute the string before releasing the bend?

I went into the complete opposite direction on string bending, do really need to mute the string I found that bit tricky for me yes I it would be great to see more lessons in string bending/ one of my main reasons why I am subscribe to Mr Fujita Guitar Wisdom to learn to do things the right way ,
As I understand it, at the top of the note of the bent string, one mute the note before releasing the string. I have always done this by gently dipping the edge of my palm down to touch the string, or even lately I have been using pic blocking that I learned with the pedal steel guitar and that is to simply cut off the note by touching the pic to the string. not to mute is to invite the “Seagull “sound. Hope this helps.
