I have just started the lesson and notice that learning the notes on the fretboard is important, and must not be only muscle memories. Here to ask what if I put on the note labels on my guitar fretboard, do you think it helps?

"Thanks so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. The goal is to play freely. You don’t need to memorize (freeze) the notes on the fretboard. Learn them. Be familiar with them. Take your time. Work on simple things. I don't recommend that you use labels."
