I am really enjoying Guitar Wisdom but found the 16th note, triplet strumming a bit difficult. I've gone through the videos where we leave 8th notes (1&2&3&4&) which are easy to understand to 16th notes and tapping.
What I think is happening with the tapping is each hand slaps the knee alternating - 1 2 3 4 (1 beat.) We iterate over this 1234 - then introduce complexities - accent the 1 then accent the 2, .. 4. I think that is what is happening - just want to be sure.
How is this translated to the guitar?
I've done the other 16th note style which is easy to follow even with ties:
1 e & ah (DUDU)
Tapping is a bit more difficult as I just hear/see the taps and I'm not sure which of the four is being accented.
Looking for something more beginner for tapping - where perhaps the notes are vocalized as the tapping happens.
Thank you for all the wonderful lessons.
