Dear Tomo Sensei,
Recently, I'm working on learning fretboard notes and triads. Learning with your material improves me a lot with those, thank you very much. However, I would like to have your advice about triads practicing. The things is that , recently I think I could C major triads well by spell out those notes in triads which are Do,Mi,So after that I would like to practice in other keys triads, let says, Bb major, I kind of stuck and confused.
What should I do to improve my Triads ideas?
For now I try different ways such as
1. Memorise Triads form (Since I took your classes, you always recommend not to memorise forms, so I just not to dig it deep with memorising the form in the starting stage.)
2. Memorise the notes in the specific triads. It is a lot of work to do. I think this is the most difficult way but should you recommend this method? I think this method would train me to be more precise on the fret board as well
3. Try to count R-3-5 or Do-Mi-So, but my brain's got confused when it has to switch from one to another.
Or is there other methods would you recommend? Thank you.
Best regards,
Jimmy
