Hi Tomo i've seen other books from berklee to practice sight-reading like " melodic rhythms for guitar" and " sight reading studies for guitar" by william leavitt . I was wondering at what point should i start studing this books and should i approach them the same way as the modern method for guitar 1?. Thanks for your time. Cheers
Here is Tomo's reply:
"Thanks so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. When I teach, I use only ONE PAGE from that book on Melodic Rhythms. That sight-reading book is OK. Bill Leavitt's 'Modern Method for Guitar, Volume 1' is the best! If you use those other books, you can approach them in a way that is similar to your approach with the 'Modern Method' book."
