Tomo Fujita Guitar Wisdom

Hey there. I really like training my fingers, timing and such by playing loops(?) of chords or blues phrases loops(?). I want to find more but I don't know the name of these... Things... So Googling is troublesome.

Tomo taught on of these loop-thingies in his YouTube video about the 3 level blues lesson he gave to John Mayer. This is some kind a mixture of licks, phrases and riffs.

Does anyone here know if these sorts of loop-thingies actually have a general name?
