Hi Tomo hope you are doing well, I was just wondering if you have any advice or tips for learning the fast guitar solos and fast guitar parts by SRV and John Mayer from their live shows without tabs and I was also wondering how would you learn to develop your own style when creating your own guitar solos and adding fast guitar licks.

I sometimes screen record videos from YouTube on iPhone. Then I put them in iMovie and slow them down and it doesn’t change the pitch and you can figure out what’s being played at a slower pace.

"Thanks so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. To play fast, you need to hear fast and be able to play scales and arpeggios fast. And you need to have a great sense of rhythm. Maybe you can practice everything slowly at first, to make your technique sharp! Review all Major scales, triads, 7th chord arpeggios, and Root 3rd 7th chord/swing groove with jazz tunes. All these things will prepare you to play fast licks!"
