Hi everyone!
Ibanez AZES as reckon by Tomo is now available in my country and I am excited in getting one!
In regards to AMP, I am looking for a light-weighted amp that can be used in my living room (staying with my family currently), that do not look too out of place really. I find bluetooth along with wireless really helpful with less cables around and jamming along with it. I thought it will be very helpful that I can play Tomo's lessons through the THR30ii amp and playing along with it. That's pretty cool!
Yamaha THR30ii seems highly recommended upon researching through Youtube. It looks very nice, has a boutique look, has bluetooth, wireless enabled, easy to use and has a pretty clean tone. Has anyone had any experience with THR30ii or Positive Grid Spark? Would like to hear from the community here! Any other suggestions are welcomed too!
Thank you and looking forward to pick my first electric guitar soon! Probably gonna pick the red one in honour of Tomo sensei!
I have the positive grid spark amp and I really enjoy it and looks great.
It comes with an app for your phone so you can play music through Bluetooth. The app plays songs from YouTube and has the chords as well. However it only tells you whether it’s major or minor, only sometimes will it pick up a dom 7 for example and will just say it’s a major.
As for the sound, I think it’s pretty good and the app comes with a lot of presets and effects. I like this feature as I don’t own any pedals.
It’s my first and only amp so I don’t have anything to judge it against but I hope this helps.
Hey Max!
Thanks for the response! I heard alot of great stuff about Positive Grid Spark Amp too! It just such a shame that I can't get hold of one in Malaysia currently. Might explore if they do ship overseas, and hopefully it doesn't cost me a bomb doing so!
Cheers Mate!
