Hey Tomo,
Absolutely loving your content from downunder in Australia! I have been playing for just over a year and am really happy with my progress and the whole learning experience.

I was hoping you could point me in the right direction when it comes to playing some speedy phrases and motifs whether it’s a lesson I can refer to or words of wisdom? I want to add into my repertoire some glimpses of speed when soloing but I don’t know how to learn it. It’s very overwhelming my brain just can’t keep up nor comprehend.

"Thanks so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. So great to see this post! To play fast, you need to practice slow, clean playing in general. Then, you need to be able to hear fast chords and melodies. It's all about preparation and technique!

"Learn to do these three things really well:
1) Fingering exercise 1212 and so on.
2) Learn more triads and apply them over many chord changes, especially on Strings 1 2 3 (fast thinking).
3) Practice R 3 7 Swing groove, and learn to play this at a faster tempo without any problems."

I did take some time to think about it and knew I had to get it right at a slower tempo and hear it in my head.
