Hello Tomo, first and foremost, I think your videos, your teaching, your guitar playing, the many detailed lessons are amazing. I love how your teaching shows kindness towards every student, but also how you teach us as a student to be kind to and patient with ourselves. You dare to show yourself both as a teacher and a student (as you say and show you practice basic and important skills every day and try to keep improving). Your teaching is amazing. Your love for the guitar made my love for the guitar deeper and I thank you for that. You are a true inspiration. Thank you so much.
As I know you're open to suggestions from students, I would like to make one here. I am very curious about more advanced harmonic concepts (among others in jazz, but also other genres) and I wondered if you could share your teachings about functional harmony with us. I know you touch upon the subject in your videos definitely, but I am trying to understand more how songwriters or people who (re)harmonize think. Maybe this is beyond the scope and purpose of guitar wisdom and if that's the case, I completely understand that, because guitar wisdom is already a wonderful place for every guitar player here. Thank you again for being the supportive and inspiring person and teacher you are.
Here is Tomo's comment:
"Thank you so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. Great to see your post! I will always be a guitar student. I don't believe that I have mastered the guitar yet. About your suggestion: I think you will find what you need in the Applied Theory section. I will continue to add lessons to this section."
