I have been watching the Modes lately and forgive me since I'm taking it slow.

Question. Can I play Modes *soloing* over triad chords or it should only be played if the chords consists of triads+7th?

"Thanks so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. You can play certain scales over triads or 7th chords. Try it. How does it sound? For simple improvisation, you can use just a Major scale or simple Pentatonic scales. The important thing, when you improvise, is to play a melody!"
