Do you have a lesson about how our fingers should hold down the strings. I.E. must be on the very tip of the finger?
I will not suggest that I am an expert in any way, but I think there are so many things to consider when you look at finger position. If you look at Tomo's playing, his hands do many things and the fingers are not always on their tips! Personally, I am not spending too much time thinking about position of my fingers, but rather whether the note sounds good or not. But yeah, I guess it's natural to start on your tips to get notes to sound clear. Anyway, that's only two cents worth, and I'll let a more experienced person weigh in. Happy Playing!
Here is Tomo's comment:
"Thanks so much for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. Please watch FT23 and FT26 on chromatic scale exercises. Then, if you need more detail on fingering, please write again in these Forums, so that I can think about another lesson on this topic."
