at 11:16 to 11;17 I like that little chromatic shimmy and I was trying to figure out a device to help me remember
it's basically D to chromatic to C (kind of confirmed later at 11:23), which echoes one of the major themes in the lesson using the diatonic triads of G major.
I mention it in case it would help someone
at a few other places I could kind of see an Am to chromatic Bm as the basis for one of the lead lines towards the end of the lesson
this is maybe not the point of the lesson but it is helpful to try to remember some of extra flavors for soloing over Am C D groove (thinking G major sometimes and other times A melodic minor)
