Hi Tomo, Hi Everyone,
First, thanks so much for this site. I'm learning to play cleaner and having so much fun!
My question is this: when playing the First Solo (p23) in the Leavitt book on the 19th measure (last measure of line 4) the last chord is an F minor triad that you play with an index finger bar.
As I lift my finger index finger off to finish the beat and then move to mute the D string, I hear that the tone changes. That F minor all goes flatter as I lift my fingers off. I want the sound from that chord to just instantly stop. :) I would like it to just instantly stop ringing out and not have this transition to sounding flat and out of tune as I lift my fingers off.
I think this is a general problem for me. I can more easily mute single notes than chords.
Does this make sense?
Do you have tips on improving this?
Thank you!
