Hello,
First i want to say, Tomo's lessons completely changed my life and relationship to the guitar practice, while being very inspirational, so thank you I'm so glad I found you!
I'm a singer, gigging 2/3 times a week and I'd like to develop my accompaniment style, adding some riffs, fills, intros and outros to the songs to really express myself fully. Is there a lesson about this?
Here's what I've been working on so far:
- chromatic scales horizontally + the 1324 vertically - aiming for sound quality, and regularity, not speed
- triads in C F Bb Eb along the neck
- triads for the blues C F G + chords R37 with muting technique
- All of me (strumming chords with muting technique) from there, I found the chords of "I can't give you anything but love" in C so that i can sing on top - I will try to find All of Me in G or a to be able to sing it too.
- Leavitt till p.36 (I already read music so I can really focus on the guitar)
NB: Some years ago I started to work on soloing with the looper (voicelive 3 extreme) but it was just one more thing to carry to my gigs (I don't drive and I often have to carry speakers, mixer, mic stand tablet stand all cables etc..) so i gave up the looper because it was just too much.
If anyone has to same goal, let me know it would be great to connect! :)
All the best
