Tomo Fujita Guitar Wisdom

Hello,

I have been watching the video "BL03 (014) Four-Note Chord Voicings" from the Blues series for the past couple days. In this video how is Tomo Fujita doing that strumming pattern? When I play the same chord progressions as him, I seem to stop strumming when my left hand is changing to another chord but Tomo seems to be always strumming. I believe that I copied the pattern very closely, but maybe I'm doing It wrong, I would like to make my strumming pattern sound like it keeps going too and fluid.
