looking for thoughts and opinions on decently priced beginner acoustic guitars that are comfortable, sound nice, and easy to play
Tomo just dropped a video today about a nice acoustic guitar.
I haven't bought an acoustic guitar in a long time. We used to have music stores where you could try them out and it was surprising how personal preferences and the geometry of your own body made a huge difference in playability. Nowadays with so many sales on-line sales, you've got to find ones where you can return it for free if it is not to your liking or doesn't fit you--like clothing, almost! Playing them in a store was definitely the best way to sort through them and I kind of miss that.
Expensive and named guitars sometimes "felt" wrong in my hands and other no-name basic guitars sometimes played easier and sounded ok, but not as beautiful as expensive ones. As a beginner, I'd pick comfort and fit and ease of use. The guitar that's right is the guitar that you play. Many bottom-of-the-barrel guitars are just too uncomfortable to play.
Here is Tomo's comment:
"Thanks for subscribing to my Guitar Wisdom. I highly recommend Orangewood Guitars. Great quality, easy to play . . . so good!"
