Hello Tomo,
Lately I have been working a lot with the Jazz standards - I really enjoy the harmonic analysis. I am excited to tell you that I have found a RealBook that blind musicians can use. It is an iPhone app called iRealPro and it gives me access to a list of 1400 Jazz standards and Jazz exercises as well as other styles like blues, Rock, bluegrass etc.
So, now I can finally read the charts including Chord symbols and all the other chart symbols such as repeats, bar lines, etc. I can also change the tempo, number of choruses, or even transpose into another key signature. This is relevant because the app will also play the chart with a fairly convincing rhythm section so I can play along in a key or tempo of choice. All in all, it is a phenomenal resource for blind or sight impaired students and I thought you would like to know about it.
P.S. to date I have learned the harmony and melody for Blue Bossa, but I'm really digging into Autumn Leaves now. I am really enjoying the new founmdation lessons as well.
