Hello,

So for example, If I want to play the D major chord. I can use the E shape on the 10th fret, and use that same E shape to play D major scale. However that E shape can also play the B minor scale. I am just starting to learn about minor scales.

We can still use that same E shape to play the B minor pentatonic or B minor scale on the 10th fret. However If we play the E shape as a chord, it is a D major. What would be the corresponding chord shape then to play a B minor on the 10th fret?

I was able to find my answer online with a google search, please ignore. But if anyone else is curious, the Minor shapes actually are attached to different pentatonic scales then the major shapes
