I've been playing guitar for about a yr just through youtube tabs and learning basic songs but now i've become stagnant so i subscribed. I was wondering on which video to start on because i know the basic chords,i know some technique, played alot of songs through tabs, i've learned the dmaj scale from a teacher before and thats about it.
When I started here, I began with the beginner series. There’s a lot to learn there even if you’re not really a beginner anymore. Also it helps you to get up to speed with Tomo’s style of teaching. After that, I went into the music theory one and most importantly the foundation triads sections. The triads are so helpful, really essential stuff. as suggested I tackled the music theory and the foundation sections simultaneously, moving back-and-forth from one to the other. It’s not really a sequential sort of thing to do one first than the other. Once you get through all of that a lot of time will probably have passed and you’ll know a lot more where you want to go.
