I have both acoustic and electric and I want to be highly proficient in both instruments. I see Professor Tomo uses both in his lessons. Which should I practice with? I feel like acoustic is harder to play due to the thicker strings (which in my head means I should practice with it), but also I can't really practice bends on the acoustic guitar. Any ideas? Thank you!
I was mostly an acoustic player but recently started with electric and really enjoying it. You are free to use either one. I base my choice depending on the lesson. If it's Triads, for example, you can use either one. When i'm learning blues rhythm or funky playing, the electric is my choice. It's just easier to play with those. That's how I choose but do what's easiest for you. Enjoy!
